There  is no real invention here in this recipe. I just thought it would be fun way to twist the basics around and try something new. What i love so much about this, is the million different ways this can be served. This is a favorite for brunch at our place. When the family feels fancy, we set up a little sundae booth to create our own sticks and go wild.


|| Serves 10 – 12 sticks||

For The Pancakes

  1. Wooden Skewers
  2. 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  3. 3½ tsp baking powder
  4. ¼ tsp salt
  5. 4 tsp white sugar
  6. 1¼ cups milk
  7. 1 egg
  8. 4 tbsp butter, melted
  9. Powdered Sugar
    For The Toppings
    (as many optional)
  10. Sliced Strawberries
  11. Nuttela
  12. Whipped Cream
  13. Sliced Bananas
  14. Penut Butter
  15. Berries

  • You can add the dry ingredients and whisk together, then add the wet and combine fully.
  • Heat a pan or griddle on medium-low heat and coat with a small layer of butter.
  • Using a tablespoon measure use about ¾ of a tablespoon of batter.
  • Cook the pancakes on both sides until lightly browned, about 45 seconds on each side.
  • Pierce the pancake through wooden skewers
  • Use a variety of of toppings to alternate the pancakes.
  • Drizzle with chocolate syrup and powdered sugar (optional)
